If you're from France, and you've ever done a blood test, you probably know Biogroup. With millions of clients in labs throughout the country, Biogroup is the leading company in blood collection.
The blood collection process is a paper-heavy, analog and slow process. Clients need to make an appointment, go to the lab and receive their results, all analog. On top of it all, Biogroup's brand is not ready for digital communication and. This needs to change!
A very sophisticated design system that sets the Biogroup brand's first steps in digital communication. This design system is scalable and build to last, also in sync with front-end development, so it's flexible. With the system, we build a product where clients can now make their appointment and see their results, sigitally.
We didn't have a lot of branding to go with, and the company was still planning a re-branding in the near future. So I designed with this in mind. Trying not to brand the app too much, kind of like a white label approach.
On this project, we started with nothing. So before creating the screens you see here, we went through countless iterations, concepting, prototyping and exploration sessions.
I am not going to be Biogroup's designer forever, so I focused a lot on documentation. I wanted this design system to be clean, and usable for the next designer too, so naming layers and having a clear structure was important.
